Relationships: Conclusion

Resizable Columns
I once had a conversation with a friend about romantic relationships that I this is worth sharing. I expressed my belief that God brings balance through masculine and feminine energies, a necessary aspect of life. If a person can balance themselves without a romantic partner, that’s wonderful and entirely possible as one evolves. However, if a relationship between two opposite attributes, such as a male and female partnership, brings balance into your life, that’s equally wonderful. Ultimately, I believe no one is meant to live without balance. If you are alone and don’t feel balanced, it may be a time for rest and reflection on your innermost being.

My friend appreciated the thought, and I explained further, saying it’s about polarity—yin and yang. The interaction of yin and yang maintains the harmony of the universe, light and dark. Co-existence brings balance, which is not necessarily about gender but about the energy of a soul when it connects with another, whether through friends, lovers, family, or acquaintances. Our world has a consciousness that maintains balance, and when that balance is disturbed, chaos arises. Harmony no longer exists within us or in the world around us.

In conclusion…

Ultimately, all relationships you’ve had will lead you back to your purest divine nature without strong urges for separation. No soul will ever be completely fulfilled until it has experienced merger back to its total divinity. To reach your divinity you must move beyond the edge of practical reason and logic and reach your limits of eccentricity. If you feel that your current relationship is overpowering, loving and generous—even making you feel a little unconventional and astonished, then you are probably on your way to your most divine state. All relationships are key to bringing you to this point of totality. Only you must choose what kind of relationships are going to help you pave your path to wholeness of Being.
