The more you have, the more you’re tied to this world. The less you have, the easier it is to let go. And that also means not being attached to your body, loved ones or anything else.
A wise master once said, “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Is “hermit mode” the doorway to your spiritual growth and power? Being alone is not the same as loneliness. Being in the company of your soul can become expansive and enlightening when you’re aligned with it.
It is in the stillness of being alone that the soul begins to speak. Not in the noise of the world, but in the quiet places where truth resonates without distortion. When you are no longer performing, pleasing, or projecting, what remains is the essence of who you are. Your soul, no longer drowned out, becomes your guiding voice. Then you will know the connection of all things where loneliness is not real. Heaven is all around you and has always been. It’s just that you decide how it looks.
Aloneness sharpens observation. You’re in the world, but you know the distinction of not being of it. And with observation the world becomes responsive to your awareness. It is as we observe and it becomes what we create. Our experiences are subjective, because we are the subjects of our own experiments, designed as experiences. The observer becomes the architect.
You get to design what your aloneness looks like—to delve into the spiritual power of your soul. The Hermetic Law of Correspondence tells us: “As above, so below.“
But do you believe that law exists beyond the personal reality you create? It does not. Our minds create universes. And even in the limitations of incarnation, how much creative power do you think you have? You only have the power you allow yourself to access. The world is your playground.
Treat it with love. Treat it with integrity. Treat it with harmony of spirit. Just as you would after this life, in your true home among the heavens—where reflection, observation, power, and virtues are unlimited.
This world is a gift—a place your soul travels through, like a vacation or a holiday. It’s extra—a kind of cosmic vacation home. You’re on a temporary trip. And because of that, you can enjoy the ride, the highs and lows, the rollercoaster of life, without taking it all so seriously. You’re here to experience, to play, to choose your own adventures. It’s your holiday—you get to enjoy the game. Don’t get mired in what dims the light of your soul. Be happy.
That home above—your ultimate reality—can be reflected below. It can be reflected on this earthly stage. You are only limited by your imagination. Always remember: As above, so below.
Your soul—here or there—is unlimited. It chooses to work within the confines of earth’s worldly constitution. But we, visitors to this world, haven’t even scratched the surface of what it means to live in conscious alignment with the soul.
I used to think, long ago, I am a puppet. Something “out there” was pulling my strings. But that’s not true. I am the puppet and the master. We souls in this playground—this landscape—are multidimensional beings. We’ve split our consciousness but still retain all the powers that be, even now, in human bodies made of matter.
It only takes aligning with the soul to remember: We are all things. The puppet and the master. The observer and the actor (or actress). Never forget your Oneness. Align with your Soul.
So how do you align with your soul? You become a conscious creator—with your soul in mind as the architect of your plans. If it feels wrong, don’t do it. Trust your intuition—even when it’s uncomfortable.
Change can hurt. But when you are in alignment with your soul’s purpose, change heals. It brings you closer to yourself. It brings you truth, wisdom, growth and freedom. So… What are you going to create?
We are not separated from any part of our true nature. Know what that nature is. Trust your Soul.
